corporate matching gift

Matching gifts help maximize your support. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs that match charitable contributions made by their employees.

 

If your gift is eligible to be matched, you must initiate the match by completing your employer’s form online or email paper forms to viviennecfinnfoundation@gmail.com for processing. Typically, you must make the donation first and provide confirmation via a gift acknowledgement letter or receipt to your company.

 

Let Us Know You Are Making A Matching Gift

Send our staff an email viviennecfinnfoundation@gmail.com letting us know you plan on getting your donation matched. Once the gift is confirmed, your employer will send the matching funds directly to Vivienne C. Finn Foundation Inc. based on their disbursement schedule.

IRA Donation

We accept gifts from Donor Advised Funds and Required Minimum Distributions from Qualified Retirement Plans (IRAs and 401k plans). If you are 70.5 years or older and have an Individual Retirement Account, you are eligible to make a tax-free donation to Vivienne C. Finn Foundation Inc. directly from your IRA.

 

Donating From Your IRA

You should consult your tax, legal and accounting advisors for instructions and advice regarding IRA charitable distributions. A contribution can be transferred directly from your IRA to Vivienne C. Finn Foundation Inc. Only the IRA custodian can transfer gift amounts to a qualified organization.

 

How To Make An IRA Donation 

To make a donation, contact your IRA administrator with your instructions and provide the following information:

  • Amount of your donation, payable to the Vivienne C. Finn Foundation Inc.
  • Tax ID number 33-3958141
